Description
Diesel Exhaust Fluid, commonly referred to as DEF (or AdBlue in Europe), is an aqueous (water based) solution comprised of 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water. DEF is consumed in use to control and lower NOx concentrations in the diesel exhaust emissions of modern diesel engines.
